Barbara Ann Smith, 85, of Englewood, Colorado passed away April 4, 2016 at her home.  Barbara was born to Weldon and Mamie (Niebaum) Severs in Denver.   Barbara grew up in the Red Feather, Wellington and Fort Collins area.  She was married to Roy E. (Ed) Smith November 18, 1949 in Fort Collins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Ed.  Barbara was an accomplished seamstress, member of the Widowed Men & Widowed Women (WMWA) club and enjoyed traveling, gardening, church, cards, her family and friends.  She was also an avid Rockies and Bronco’s fan.  

Barbara is survived by her son Robert Smith and wife Judy, grandchildren Corey Smith and wife Amy, Christy Cook and husband Josh, Chelsea Smith and great grandchildren Emma and Paige Cook.  Barbara is also survived by her brothers and sisters Jim and Pat Severs, Janice Ewan, Dorothy and Wes Beebe, and Kenneth and Dolly Severs, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers charitable contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Barbara.
