Benjamin Franklin Foote Jr.

In loving memory of Benjamin Franklin Foote Jr., who went home to our heavenly father at the age of 85 on July 29, 2015. Interment will be at Littleton Cemetery on August 4, 2015 at 11am.

Born on July 15, 1930 to Benjamin and Mary (Johnson) Foote. Ben grew up in Wichita, Kansas with his sisters Donice (Benedict) and “Dee” (Logan). In 1949 he met the woman of his dreams, Doris Jane Kieferle and married her on February 1, 1951. Ben was married to Doris for 47 years. Together they made their home in Littleton, Colorado and raised daughters Kathy (Beyale) and Lori (Scott).

Ben was inducted into the Army in 1953 serving in the Korean War. He earned honors as Private First Class.

His wife, parents and siblings preceded him in death.  Ben is survived by his daughters Kathy (Wayne) Beyale and Lori (Mike) Scott. He is also survived by his grandchildren Chris (Melissa), Leslie (Kevin), Steve (Tori), John & Eric (Sara). In addition he had his 7 great grandchildren Monique, Kristy, Angelica, Aracelli, Kevin Jr., Kayden and Allyson. Ben also had two great-great grandchildren; Jazzmin and Cyris. As well as his dear friend and companion Darlene Nelson.

Ben was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. He enjoyed golf, woodworking, building model airplanes and spending time with the people he loved. Ben will be truly missed by all.
