Bette Stewart McGee

Bette Stewart McGee, 88, passed away peacefully in Littleton, CO, on September 25, 2015. She grew up in Centralia, Washington, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.M. Stewart. An accomplished soprano, she was a member of the Lyric Opera of Chicago chorus for over thirty years and union president. After retirement, she and her husband joined family in Colorado, where they delighted in their growing grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Tom, her daughter Amy (Tom) Osborne, and newborn granddaughter Claire Osborne. Bette is survived by her daughter, Kathy McGee Nikjoo of Oxford, England, and loving grandsons Tommy (Caroline) Nikjoo and Alex Nikjoo, and Andrew and James Osborne.
