Selfless, driven, energic, friendly, caring, strong, loving, nuturing and beautiful inside and out. A most supportive and understanding mother who always believed in unconditional love.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Brandon, Derrick and David.

Remembering Brenda,

To have known Brenda is to have been touched by Love, Acceptance, Strength, Courage, Dedication, Generosity, her Sense of Humor and so much more; in short, Brenda made a difference. For those of us privileged to share in her journey let us endeavor to fulfill this legacy in our own. Brenda, we love you dearly and miss you deeply. So, until we meet again, with your Life as an inspiration, may it be said of us as well, we have made a difference.

Our deepest condolences to Brenda's family during this time. Without her willingness to take a chance and fight for the underdog, my family would not be where we are today. We owe everything to Brenda and the world will not be the same place without her. She will be dearly missed..

While we were aware of Brenda's medical issues, it is a very sad day to learn via email of her homecoming. We are out of country and cannot attend her celebration, but will be there in spirit.
As fellow realtors, we had great respect for her honesty and integrity in her dealings with clients. She was also a great inspiring addition to Eagles #4471. A happy smiling lady with a "can do" attitude.
She meant so very much to so very many.
Pueblo West will greatly miss you,but never forget you.

I was so sorry to hear of Brenda's passing. She was such a bright and vivacious person. She assisted us in getting our home and selling many homes for our family and also my Dad when he was with Greenhorn Bank. She will be missed by so many. She even lent a hand to me when I dabbled in real estate lending with Norwest many, many years ago by letting me sit at an open house or two. I know she was very proud of her boys and that they had done so well and would be able to continue even when she had left this earth. There is definitely a new and shining star in heaven now she is there.

I am so very sorry and saddened to hear of Brenda's passing. My parents lived in Pueblo West in the 70s. Threw visiting them we met Brenda, Dave, and their young sons. I remember going to the water and our daughters playing w their boys. I have a photo book of that trip. There are many with Brenda and her family in our book. I send prayers and hugs to Brandon, Derrick and Dave. As well as Brenda's mother and family. You have our deepest sympathy at the passing of your dearly loved, beautiful inside and out, Brenda.

Dear Blickenstaff Family:
There are few people who touch as many lives as did Brenda. Her infectious smile, boundless energy, and dedication to her children was a shining example to all who knew her. As a teacher in Pueblo West, I saw Brenda often in the school and was always amazed at her total involvement with her children and their education. Her natural charm and interest in the growth of Pueblo West made her a natural leader. She will be missed by everyone whose life she touched! I pray that the memories of the good times will give peace and joy to her family as heaven rejoices her arrival. May God bless all of her family, friends, and loved ones who mourn her passing.

I knew Brenda for years as a realtor who would contact me with questions about Pueblo West although she knew the answers better than I did. Then she applied for the COA position and I got to work with her. She never beat around the bush and made her point. I loved working with her. We became friends and supported one another in our careers. I was happy to take six of her chickens although I was not happy for the circumstances in which I obtained them. I will miss her terribly. Gods speed Brenda. You are soaring with the Eagles now. Love you my friend.

We were unaware of her health, and were shocked to hear this information..Brenda was a great gal who we stayed in touch with as long as we lived in P.W. but followed her the last few years on FB only..we knew she had medical issues years ago. but we were not up to date ...She was the most upbeat, happy person to come into our lives and she just glowed! Godspeed Brenda you were a light in lives while on earth..please continue to shine in Heaven.
