Catherine Ann McCarthy

Catherine Ann McCarthy, 77, passed away January 27, 2016. Catherine, one of Paul and Anna Bergersen’s five children, was born on April 6, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York. Catherine and her husband John (Jack) McCarthy moved with their family to Littleton, Colorado in 1972. 

Catherine dedicated her life to her family and friends. She was an avid sports enthusiast (Go Broncos!). She loved her weekly lotto and scratch tickets, her sweets, and her favorite TV shows. Her gentle smile and spirted demeanor will be greatly missed. 

Catherine is preceded in death by her husband Jack of 49 ½ years and her daughter Patricia. She is survived by her children: John McCarthy III and his wife Penny, Karen Kauthen, Dianne Giguere, and Alice McCarthy; as well her grandchildren: John McCarthy IV, Nicole McCarthy, Christopher Weins and his wife Laura, Caitlin Weins, Jordan Zeller, Gordon Ploof Jr., Patricia Giguere, Claire McCarthy, Jacob Kauthen, Corey Ploof, Daniel McCarthy, and her five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at DrinkWine Family Mortuary on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Service following in the chapel directly after.
