Welcome to the memorial page for

Charles Robert Cordeau

December 22, 1942 ~ October 30, 2015 (age 72) 72 Years Old

Charles Robert Cordeau, born December 22, 1942 in Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away in Littleton, Colorado, on Halloween eve.  It was sixteen years to the day that his brother Jamie Cordeau passed away.  The family believes that Charlie and Jamie are now spending their time on a heavenly golf course.

Charlie graduated from Lowell Tech, known today as the University of Massachusetts Lowell.  He obtained a B.S. in Plastics Engineering in 1964.  Charlie was the Parliamentarian for the first Pledge Class of his fraternity Sigma Phi Omicron.   He was closely involved with the definition of what Sig O stands for and a key bridge from the Founders to following classes.  He has been a strong financial supporter of Sig O's activities, especially the Endowment.

Charlie was married in 1968 to Pamela Gesine Aldrich.  They have three children Christian Charles Cordeau, Abigail Aldrich Cordeau Elu (Dan), and Noel Frederick Cordeau (Betty).  They have three grandsons Andrew Elu, Josh Elu, and Owen Elu and one granddaughter Caitlyn Frause.  He is also survived by his brother David Cordeau and wife Grace, and his sister Diane Hugel.  He has several nephews, nieces, and cousins, all of whom meant a great deal to him.

In 2007 Charlie retired from Alcann Packaging.  He was a National Account Executive in pharmaceutical packaging.

Donations may be made in Charlie’s memory to Doctors Without Borders or to Wounded Warriors Project.

A memorial service will be held the first week in June at St. Michael’s Church in Lowell, Massachusetts.
