Curt Herman Pinckernell Jr. entered in to rest September 13, 2016. Curt was born July 9, 1925, in Baltimore Maryland. He grew up and spent most of his youth in The Bronx New York.

He attended Baltimore Poli Technic Institute in 1943 went onto earn an advanced degree at General Motors Technical College, there he met his wife Anna Baumgardner, they were married June 16, 1951 in Baltimore Maryland. During World War II, Curt served as a QM3 aboard the USS Montpelier After returning from the war, Curt was hired with Martin Marietta as an engineer and work with them for over 30 years. His son Curt Herman Pinckernell III, was born November 27, 1953. Over the years they moved due to work to several places including Maryland, Kansas, and finally settling in Highlands Ranch Colorado.

Curt loved golf, coin collecting, music, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Curt was proceeded in death by his loving wife Anna and his son Curt. He is survived by his Daughter-in-Law Laurie Pinckernell, husband Don Parker, Granddaughter Pam Frakes, husband Bill Frakes; grandson Nick Pinckernell, wife Jodi Pinckernell, great grandchildren Bridget Frakes, Cale Pinckernell, and Aribeth Pinckernell, sister-in-law Louise Pinckernell, niece Susan Pinckernell Deneke, nephew Chet Pinckernell, and niece Janette Dapkunas.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday September 27, 2016. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Disabled American Veterans or a charity of your choice in honor of Curt.
