David William Lansdown

David William Lansdown, 49, a native Coloradoan, passed suddenly but peacefully in his sleep Friday, August 14th 2015.  Known as “Dave the Wave”, to his friends and family graduated from Cherry Creek High School.   He was preceded in death by his infant son, Blake William and his parents William and Treva Lansdown.  Dave loved his family deeply and is survived by his wife, Alescia Miller Lansdown of 24 years and 326 days, his children, Tayler, Beau and Alexa, and his sister, Melissa.Dave lived life to the fullest.  He was known as a prankster and jokester whose favorite Holiday was April Fool’s Day.  His hobbies were numerous from volunteering and making a difference in this world to playing drums, music trivia, magic tricks, ventriloquism, skiing, lacrosse, football, the Broncos, Avalanche, Rockies, Nuggets, and Mammoth.  His favorite hobby was being involved as a volunteer for his kid’s sports and activities.  He was a gifted chef and grill master who loved entertaining his friends and family with his comedic personality.

 A viewing for family and friends will be held at Drinkwine Mortuary 999 W. Littleton Blvd, Littleton on Friday, August 21st from 6:00-8:00pm.   The Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 22nd at Shenandoah Park and Clubhouse 4851 S. Shenandoah Way Aurora CO 80015. Friends and Family will be wearing their wildest outfits in honor of Dave’s distinguished taste in loud wild clothing!
