Debra Lee Barron Chavez

Debra Lee Barron Chavez, of Littleton, CO, born March 4, 1977 took her place in Paradise on May 8, 2016 while surrounded by family and friends.  A lifelong resident of the Denver metro area, Debbie is survived by her two sons, Rigo and Rudy, daughter Karessa, brothers Jessie, Eddie, Ruben, Anthony (Pelon), Fabian, sisters Veronica and Nancy and parents Helen and Mariano Chavez.  

Debbie loved her kids above all else and with equal love of her family and friends created the complete package.  She made smiles and laughter magically appear with stories that started out with “So what had happened wuz...”.  Debbie prided herself on placing others happiness before her own.  As much as her family and friends brought joy to Debbie’s heart, nothing compared as to when she cooked for them.  Especially when she made her famous tacos, enchiladas and salsa. 

Debbie cherished life and lived it to its fullest all the while flashing her amazingly illuminating smile and electrifying laugh.  The beauty within her soul was projected outwards with her meticulous makeup, hair and clothes, which sometimes took hours to perfect.  Debbie incorporated music in every aspect of her life.  Always serenading those around her with an amazing voice.  With her beautiful voice came the dancing that at times bordered clumsy and sarcastic. 

Debbie protected all that she loved.  You never wanted to meet the infamous DeeBo.

The family invites you for a viewing from 3pm to 8pm on Tuesday May 17 with a Rosary ceremony at 7pm at Drinkwine Mortuary located at 999 W. Littleton Blvd.  Funeral Services will be held Wednesday May 18, 2016 at 11am at New Hope Ministries located at 875 S Sheridan Blvd in Lakewood and burial procession to Littleton Cemetery 6155 S. Prince St. to follow.  Afterwards there will be a reception held at the VFW located at 2190 S Platte River Dr. Englewood, CO. until 10pm.
