Donald E. Stanton

Donald E. Stanton passed away May 8, 2015.

 

Don was born to Annie and John on July 10th, 1923 in a small farming community in Northern Idaho.

 

The middle of three children he had an older brother and younger sister. 

 

He joined the Army Air Corp in 1943 and was stationed in England working as a flight line mechanic. This is where he met his wife to be Vera. The newlyweds settled in Idaho after the war and had three beautiful children. Don later was offered a job with Buick Motor Division and the family finally settled in Denver where he spent many years with General Motors and then several more with local car dealer Dick Dean.

 

Don is proceeded in death by his son and beloved wife Vera after 55 years of marriage. He leaves behind 2 children, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

 

Burial is Wednesday, May 13th at 10AM in the Littleton Cemetery.
