Dorothy Louise Myler

Dorothy Louise Myler died peacefully in her home on May 14, 2015.  Dorothy was born on the first day of summer, June 21, 1926 in Waterloo, Iowa.  She moved to Denver in the early 60’s and fell in love with Colorado and especially downtown Denver.   She moved into Brooks Towers in 1963, being one of the first full-time residents.

One of her favorite memories was getting together with Ann, her best friend and going up to Central City to attend the operas. 

Dorothy loved to travel and has many great memories of trips with her Aunt Margaret. 

Dorothy worked at May Company for 26 years as an administrative assistant to the Vice President.  She always loved the finer things in life.

She is survived by the love of her life, her son, Jimmy Myler, who resides in Arvada, CO, along with her brother-in-law, Bill Fletcher, of Fort Dodge Iowa and Bill’s children, Jeff Fletcher (Tami), Clark Fletcher (Sandy), Kristy (Jon) Niemeyer, their children and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Frances (Kennedy) Groff, and her sister, Geraldine  (Geri) Fletcher.

A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held June 13, 2015 at 10:00 in the morning at Brooks Towers, 1020 15^th Street Denver, CO.
