Jeffrey Dean Campbell

September 9, 1966 – November 22, 2017

Jeffrey Dean Campbell (Jeff) was born on September 9, 1966, the second of four children to Don and Gloria Campbell.  Jeff grew up in Thornton, Colorado, attending Saints Peter & Paul Catholic School and Thornton High.  During his grade school years, Jeff swam competitively, earning Jr. Olympic medals and becoming excited for the Olympic swim team until his parents’ divorce dictated a new direction.  He graduated from Thornton High School in 1984.

His love of building and maintaining cars began at an early age. Following high school, he obtained a Technical Certification from Bowman Occupational Center while working as a mechanic in a small auto repair shop.  When the opportunity presented itself, Jeff left Colorado to join the airline industry with United Airlines in Oakland, California, where he worked until 1994 when he transferred back to his home in Colorado.  Jeff continued with United until he joined Frontier Airlines in 2008 as Director of Airport Planning/Properties & Facilities.

Most recently, Jeff was Managing Director with AvAirPros, a position he enjoyed tremendously.

Jeff had many talents. He was a master fabricator, welder, and mechanic as well as an accomplished NASCAR Crew Chief, spotter, and official.  He loved to work on racecars, street rods, and most recently motorcycles with his brothers:  Matt & Kirk.

Jeff was a devoted husband & father to Shannon and Samantha; and you can’t leave out the furry kids, their bulldogs; Van Gogh, Daisy, and Coco, all of whom he loved with unending passion.

Jeff is survived by his beloved wife, Shannon and daughter Samantha. Two brothers, Kirk Campbell of Ordway (Julie) and Matt Campbell of Colorado Springs (Josy), Aunts Carolyn Donoho of Utopia, Texas (Harvey), Connie Kimbrel of Westminster, Colorado and Marie Kalness, of Parker, Colorado, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Cherished friends, Scott Backman, Toni Pugliese and Joe Canzona.

Jeff was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Don and Gloria Campbell, and Sister, Michelle Campbell-Anderson.
