To The Owsley Family,

We have so many wonderful memories of Jim that range from the high school  pool parties at the Owsley's home to his visits to our dental office.  Jim was one of our favorite patients who made us all laugh with his great stories.  What a special individual he is and what wonderful memories we all have of him.  He lives on through each of you now and will never be forgotten. Thanks for all the great times together.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sue and Family,

I remember first meeting Jimbo 2 years ago as my first male resident.
I remember him being this energetic person that always was looking for a good "DEAL". He was always crunching numbers and asking us what we thought about it. I will never forget Glen Miller's "In the Mood" playing in the background amping him up, and me yelling," Come on Jim, Show me what you got". and him taking off dancing. I will never forget the family coming in and making you (Sue) eat a little lunch. I wanted to thank you for inviting New Dawn into your life while helping you take care of Jim. Through the tough times and the rough times, we took him in his all. When the good times came around you'd be warmed with his smile and maybe even a hug. YOU AND YOUR FAMILY WILL ALWAYS BE PART OF THE NEW DAWN FAMILY. We love and will miss him dearly.

Dear Lyndal and family,

I hope you find comfort in warm memories and in knowing others sympathize and care.  Your father is not gone; he will live in your hearts forever.  And remember that healing moves at its own pace.  Be kind to yourself.  I know your heart is aching and I am truly sorry for your loss.

Matthew 5:4:  Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Susie . . . I have thought of you often during the years, remembering how dear you are . . . this isn''t what I had in mind to get in touch with you.  I am thinking extra hard of you and those you love at this difficult time.

Sue, Lyndal, Jamie and Steve,

I met Jim up at CU while sharing the SAE house with Jamie and Steve.  I knew right away he was a special kind of "friends' dad" and loved him from the minute I met him.  I remember having contests before CU games where he would try to out-punt me with the football and he would always win.  I enjoyed his stories and always being welcomed to the Owsley house in Littleton by Jim and Sue.  As the years passed on, Jim was always like an old friend when we met again.

I will miss him but his wonderful legacy lives on.  My condolences to you all.
