Joan Marie Tucker

Joan (Thomson) Tucker, 53, of Littleton CO, born Oct 29, 1962 in Johnson City, NY was one of 8 children, entered into rest May 9, 2016.  Joan grew up in Richfield Springs and Syracuse, NY then moved to Atlanta, GA.  She spent more than 20 years in Atlanta and is where she met her loving husband Nathan Tucker. They were married on beautiful Cumberland Island, GA.  Joan and Nathan moved to Littleton, CO in 2009 and loved the outdoors, camping, hiking, biking, skiing, kayaking.  Joan inspired others, running the Big Sir Marathon and the Mt Evans Ascent, yet has been with MS for over 20 years.

Joan touched so many lives with her unique gifts, bringing much joy to those who were privileged enough to know her. She had a special way of listening where you felt heard, and used her physical therapy skills of observation and teaching to care for our aches and pains so we can stay active with her in the great outdoors. She brought enthusiasm and laughter to make times more enjoyable.  Joan will be greatly missed and we will always hold her in our hearts.
