Mr. John Rudnick, of Littleton, CO, passed the 11th of January, 2018 after a short bout with pneumonia. He is survived by his loving wife, Arlene, of 68 years. Also, by his six children, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Born in New York in 1925, he married the love of his life after service during WW II, in the US Navy In the Pacific Theater as a radioman. He transitioned to Southern California first at Hughes Electronics, where he delivered the electrical control systems for Explorer 1 and later space craft including the Vela series of nuclear detection satellites. He was responsible for launch authorization In the Florida Command Center, on two of these missions. He later, as a project manager at Martin Marietta, supported MX, and Titan missions, and Skylab.
Mr. Rudnick was a strong supporter of his family and he is sorely missed by his family and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held Friday January 26, 2018 at Drinkwine Family Chapel at 10:30 AM with inurnment to follow at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
