Was very sorry to hear of Kris's passing at a horse show this weekend, where i was going to look for her to say hello. I have not seen her in recent years, but remember how cheerful and wonderful she was as a rider, trainer and an instructor, my condolences to the extended McConnell family.

She was the heart of Colorado and all the beautiful, wild wonder it inspires. I am so grateful to have met her. She was someone to aspire to be as a woman, and as a horsewoman. Thank you for sharing her with us all, and may joy always be with you. Love, Audrey Wilson

Our Dear McConnell and Brost Friends,

Words can barely describe our grief and everlasting love for Kris. She was a rainbow amid the colors of life. Her heart genuine. Her love true. Her talent immeasurable.

Gone too soon and yet forever part of a greater and more wonderful place. She was loved.
