LaVerne Maryanne Bushaw, age 101, passed away on March 29, 2017. She was the widow of Ebert Lawrence Bushaw. They shared 63 years of marriage together. She is survived by her children, Marilyn Campbell, Barbara Matteson, Richard Bushaw, and Susan Cannon, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Born in Canada, she was the daughter of Cecilia Devine and George Anstett. After moving to the United States as a young girl, she grew up in North Dakota, then resided in Washington, California, and most recently Colorado.

She was employed as a librarian for many years and had a fondness for playing piano, dancing, playing Pinochle, and crocheting slippers for everyone in her family. LaVerne was known for her loving, feisty, bigger-than-life personality. All who met her have endless stories of her humor and grace. 

Please join us for the memorial service to be held April 3, 2017 at Drinkwine Mortuary, 999 West Littleton Boulevard Littleton, CO 80120 at 2:00pm.

Following the service, family and friends are invited for a reception at the home of Susan and Terry Cannon, at 8431 West Ute Drive Littleton, CO 80128 at 4:00pm. We will have food, drinks, and memories to share.
