Linda Smith grew up in Louviers, Colorado and graduated from Douglas County High School where she was a cheerleader.   Her parents were Robert and Catherine Smith and she had three siblings including Jeanine, Kent, and Terri (deceased).   Linda married John Bagnall in 1960 and they were married for 56 years when John passed in 2016.   She has five sons including Mike, Mark, Matt, Bob, and Patrick and fourteen grandchildren including Karl, Sam, Luke, Haley, Wyatt, Tess, Conner, Nicholas, Sean, Tyler, Lauren, Katie, John, and Jake.  

Linda was a highly religious beautiful, loving, and caring person who also had true grit.   Anyone who visited her the last few years knows she had some struggles with health but that her positive attitude never faded.   She loved music (operas/Andrea Bocelli especially), the mountains, singing, beautiful clothes, Bronco games, games, laughing, gardening, cooking, and most of all time with her grandchildren.   She was a very compassionate, caring, and loving person.

She peacefully passed away at home in her sleep the evening of 12/29 surrounded by most of her children, their spouses, and grandchildren. She is survived by all of her sons, their spouses, and fourteen grandchildren as well as her sister Jeanine and brother Kent.   Gone, but will never be forgotten and surely re-connected with John in Heaven.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held Sunday Jan. 7, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Drinkwine Family Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Monday January 8, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church. 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Catholic Charities Archdiocese Denver  www.ccdenver.org in Linda's memory.
