Norma Jean Laurenzana (Lorenzo) Clayton passed away in her home on June 26, 2015 in Littleton, Colorado. She died peacefully at 83 years of age. Her family was by her side at her death, which was her wish. Norma Jean is survived by her husband Glenn of 64 years, their three children (Scott Clayton, Jandee Camozzi, and Kerry Clayton), their four grand children (Clayton Camozzi, Cierra Olmsted, Luke Clayton, and Landis Clayton), two great grand children (Luca Camozzi and Matthew Olmsted), 2 GREAT grandchildren on the way. With a love for snow skiing, water skiing, traveling in an RV, and investing in real estate, Norma Jean lived life to the fullest. She was an energetic renaissance woman who was curious, full of life, ideas and determination. Friends often came to Norma Jean for advice, and she always welcomed them in to her home with open arms.
A warm and bright caretaker, Norma Jean cherished cooking Italian dinners for her loved ones. Friends and family describe the time they spent in Norma Jean’s home as truly magical. In her later years, she faced her illness with tremendous courage, optimism and faith in her Lord. She will be missed by many. Sausage and peppers will never be the same.
Services will be held on July 8, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Cherry Hills Community Church Chapel, which is located at 3900 Grace Boulevard in Highlands Ranch (the chapel is separate from the main church). A reception is to follow at Hudson Gardens, located at 6115 S. Santa Fe Drive in Littleton.
