Patricia Ann Icks

Patricia A. Icks, of Englewood, Colorado, passed away peacefully, on June 29, 2017 at her home. 

She was born on August 5, 1935 to Carl and Thelma Johnson. She married William Icks on August 10, 1958 in Lawrence, Kansas.

Patricia attended Kansas University and was an accomplished artist. She taught art classes at Arapahoe Community College and worked for Denver University Athletic Department. She was the coordinator for the Littleton Sidewalk Art Show, in the 70's and early 80's. She had a passion for gardening and spent 40+ years converting her backyard into her own special paradise. 

She is survived by by her two daughters: Denise and Brenda, her son Michael and his wife Terri; grandchildren, Rebecca, Brian, Benjamin, and Jessica; great grandchild, Joplin; Siblings Nathan Johnson and Carolyn Lindberg; nieces and nephews and friends.

Patricia was proceeded in death by her husband, William Icks, her son William Icks Jr. and her brother Carl Johnson. 

Patricia's Funeral will be on Thursday, July 6th at 11:00 a.m. Services will be held at Drinkwine Family Mortuary, 999 W. Littleton Blvd. Littleton, Colorado 80120. A private inurnment will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery, along side her husband William.

A reception at Patricia's home will follow the funeral service. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Johnson Cancer Center Foundation at cancer.ucla.edu/giving in Patricia's honor.
