Patty L. Grobner

Patty L Grobner (Pat), age 82, peacefully passed away in her home on April 28th, 2016.  Pat was born in South Whitley, IN on January 21st, 1934.  Pat is preceded in death by her husband Robert Alan Grobner and her parents. She is survived by two sons and a daughter, Mike (Tammi), Mark, and Mary (Chris); Her grandchildren, Ryan, Tara, Daniel, Angela, and Elizabeth; One brother, Timothy (Mary)  Knepple and nephew Derek (Karleigh) Knepple.

Pat and Robert were married in July of 1955.   In 1956, Patty finished her nursing degree from the Presbyterian Hospital of Chicago.  The family relocated to Colorado in 1973, which enabled her to once again work as a registered nurse, specializing with infectious disease for the remainder of her career.

Pat’s loves were gardening, baseball and her dogs.   As a young girl through teenage years she performed with a ballet dance troop, as a toe dancer.

Services will be held on Tuesday May 3, 2016,  at 10:00 AM, Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO, Staging Area A where Pat will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Robert A. Grobner.
