I think I may have been one of your oldest friends, for
we go back at least to Hawthorne Jr. High School in
Elmhurst, IL. And I remember that you and your family
lived in a house I later came to know a lot better
--- the house on Winthrop and Hagans Street, for
your family moved out of that house, and one of my
best friends at York H.S. moved in--- the family of
Peter Sonnderegger, also York '52, who is now, like you,
also deceased.
I remember too, Chuckie Stevens--- also of my
grade school days, and our Junior High School days,
and for at least the first two years of York, for I
believe it was Chuck who first dated you while
you and he were at York H.S.
And then, even more recently, at a website on the
Internet called 'Classmates.com'--- where you were
a member, but I was not. That website notified me
that you had left a message there for me. And I did
see that message, as they let me "in" to do just
that--- respond, through Classmates.com, even
though I was not a member. I don't know whether
you ever saw my response there, sooo, I leave it
here with you again--- as a Guest at what is now
your own obituary:--- "I do remember you, Patty,
and I wish you well, this day and forever more."
