Welcome to the memorial page for

Peggy R. Luiszer

April 7, 1949 ~ June 11, 2016 (age 67) 67 Years Old

Peggy R. Gielinski-Luiszer 4/7/1949 – 6/11/16

Peggy, 67, passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her beloved husband, Bob, after a battle of various health issues. Peggy had unbelievable strength and courage, while dealing with pain and discomfort the last few months of her life. Truly a person to admire. She was born at Porter Hospital in Denver, and grew up in the Englewood and Littleton areas. She attended Charles Hay elementary, Euclid middle school and a graduate of Arapahoe High School in 1967. She had a kind heart, a loving soul and a friend to all she met. She touched many people along the way and would keep in contact with many acquaintances. Peggy will surely be deeply missed by all. Peg was a BIG Bronco fan, and loved many sporting events, but she did not care for hockey because she didn’t like the fighting. A cold Coors Light was her beverage of choice when partying with friends, a beer at the bar, or just for an evening of winding down. She loved laying out in the sun, even in winter (weather permitting), beaches and cooling off in the blow-up baby pool. Her flower garden was her passion, sanctuary, and oasis, spending hours tending to her beautiful flowers. Peggy enjoyed, and held close, all her kitties over the years. Along with Rosie and Winston, Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Maida Navis, along with her daughter Jacine Gielinski, who was murdered 4/29/97 at age 22. Peggy died from a broken heart in more ways than one, and is now with Jacine, who she had greatly missed. The color purple and angels of any sort had filled her life after the loss of Jac. Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Bob Luiszer. No services will be held, at her request. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jacine Gielinski Memorial Scholarship Fund, University of Colorado, Colorado Springs https://giving.cu.edu/fund/write-fund or the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley, Littleton, CO http://hsspv.org/
