Saleim Bowlus

Saleim “Sam” Bowlus went to be with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the evening of March 11, 2017.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Doris (Smith) Bowlus; his brother Monier “Bo” Bowlus and wife Sara; his four children Pam McCormick and her husband Scott, Kathryn Bowlus, Laura Goerig and her husband Jeff, Jeffrey Bowlus and his wife Hayley; his nine grandchildren Brian, Shannon, Ashley, Aubrey, McKayla, Hanna, Jamie, Tamara and Yazmin; and numerous beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen Bowlus and his twin brother Kamel “Mel” Bowlus.

Following his graduation from Littleton High School, Sam served honorably in the United States Air Force.  He returned to Colorado immediately after, spending most of his life in Littleton- the town he loved.  Sam chose his career to be that of a drywall craftsman – something of which he was known to be a true artist and master.  He loved gardening, taking walks, and playing with his grandchildren.  He was a gentle and loyal soul who was loved immensely and is greatly missed.

On March 17, the viewing (11:00 – 1:30) and recitation of the Rosary (1:30 – 2:00) will be held at Drinkwine Family Mortuary.  Graveside services will be held at 2:30 at Littleton Cemetery.
