Vaughn Ray Reneau

Vaughn Reneau, 83, passed away Monday, July 3, 2017 at his home in Littleton, CO, surrounded and cared for by his loving family; he suffered from end stage dementia. He was born in Dandridge, Tennessee on March 26, 1934, to his parents Arville and Pearlie Reneau. 

Vaughn graduated from high school and went to a trade school for two years to become a carpenter and worked to build high-rise apartments and commercial buildings.  

Vaughn worked and owned Centerra Construction with a partner and later added OK Demolition to the business. When the partnership ended, Vaughn took the Demolition Company; he had loyal employees and customers that made OK demolition a success.  Vaughn was a very successful business man, very generous and a joy to work with and for. 

Vaughn enjoyed traveling with family and friends and loved the beach and road trips of any kind. He was always smiling and laughing and had a very easy going nature. His love of mustangs and old cars were his passion. He would restore the mustangs to their original state and sell them; as well as other cars. 

He is survived by Linda Vuksic, his life time partner of 32 years, Jennifer Kukhahn, step daughter and Jeffrey and DJ Kukhahn step grandchildren; Mildred Lindsey of Tennessee, sister, Earla Reneau, seperated wife of 34 years, Pam Robbins, daughter and her husband Russ; Mark Reneau, son; Nicole and Michael Robbins, and Nicolas Reily, grandchildren.  

Vaughn was preceded in death by the recent loss of his daughter Jennifer Reneau; baby daughter Mildred Reneau; brothers Herbert and Robert Reneau; and his Mother and Father. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 on July 10, 2017 at Drinkwine Family Chapel, 999 W. Littleton Boulevard, Littleton, CO 80120. Burial will follow at 3:00PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery.  A Reception will follow the burial at Hudson Gardens, 6115 S. Santa Fe Drive, Littleton, CO 80120 from 4:30 - 7PM.
