Verna Weaver

Verna V. Weaver, age 90 of Littleton, Colorado, passed away in her home on Monday, April 18, 2016. She was born to the late Elmer McDaniel and Herberta Hippler McDaniel on June 23, 1925. Verna was a surviving widow to her loving husband John B. Weaver, Jr. who passed away on August 2, 1984. Verna is survived by her two daughters, Sherri Weaver and Lisa Hall as well as her sweet dog, Chance. Her oldest daughter Joni Celek passed away on April 20, 2011. Verna is also survived by her three grandchildren, Derek Celek, Brittany Hall and Spenser Hall.  Verna was one of thirteen children. Of those thirteen children, Verna is survived by her siblings, Roland McDaniel, Fern Reevs, Eva Labrum, Geneva Priddy, Herbert McDaniel, Theodore McDaniel and Linda Kaccmar.

Verna’s love was her yard and her garden. She was a very active investor in the stock market and a great cook.

The visitation will be held at Drinkwine Mortuary, 999 W. Littleton Blvd., Littleton, Colorado on April 27, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with the funeral service at 11:30 a.m.  Burial services to be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery where Verna will be laid to rest with her beloved husband John B. Weaver, Jr.
