In loving memory of Troy Eric Heston. 

Troy Eric Heston was born in Denver, Colorado on May 17, 1974 and passed away on March 6, 2010.    

Troy was an angel with a spirit that would light up a room. He touched so many lives and made everyone want to be a better person. His kind smile and gentle soul made him unique. He had a silent wisdom and a gentle strength; he was truly an old soul. His quiet demeanor was full of charm, and he was able to convey so much meaning in so few words. His energy was incredibly soothing and he had such a calming presence.

Troy was a man of integrity, heart, and thoughtfulness; he was beautiful inside and out. Troy had an infectious smile and a heart of gold and he loved his family and friends with all of his heart. He was the most honest and loyal person; he stood for everything good and right in this world. Being a kid at heart, Troy loved spending time with his nephews. With his strong passion and love for animals; he was truly the true dog whisperer. Troy was a blessing to all of us - simply to know him was a blessing.  

Troy graduated from Columbine H.S. in 1993 and Metro State College in 1998.  He was a recipient of the 'Spirit of Columbine' award for the football season of 1992/1993, which recognized him as someone who exhibited an undefeated spirit and someone who strives to always push himself to his true potential both as an athlete and as a person.  Troy married Marta Grochowski in 2006.  He loved animals, nature, his friends, his wife and his family.  Troy was a great friend and our hero. Troy, we loved you so very much. 

Troy is survived by his wife, Marta Heston; his parents, Larry & Stephanie Heston; his sisters, Stacy Whitney, her husband, Micah Whitney & their sons, Cody Heston & Brandon Whitney, Holly Heston, her fiancé Mikey Dillon, their son Kane Dillon, his parents-in-law, Kris & Krystyna Grochowski, and his dog Prince.
