Charles R. Scott, age 84, of Highlands Ranch passed away April 13, 2024. Chuck was born February 10, 1940 to Glen and Beatrice Scott in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Chuck attended high school in Colorado Springs and went on to attend The University of Denver on scholarship for his musical talent. There he participated in the University’s orchestra as an accomplished celloist. He ultimately chose the path of business and worked at many companies including his own accounting services firm. By far his favorite employment was after retirement, shuttling cars for Enterprise Rent a Car.
Chuck enjoyed many activities throughout his life. He spent hours riding dirt bike motorcycles with his boys, taking long drives with the convertible car club and riding touring motorcycles with his wife Camille. He loved dancing and could often be found country dancing on the weekends. He enjoyed traveling, spending over 700 days seeing the world. Chuck was also an avid fisherman in all kinds of weather. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, friend and always a pillar of strength and mentor. He was never short of a smile and words of encouragement. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
The beloved husband of Camille Scott of 59 years and is survived by his sister Gloria Boken, his children Jeff, Gregg (wife Patricia), his grandchildren Kathryn, Anna, Mason and Lilah. He now embraces his late daughter Lisa and smiles upon us all.
