Allen Ward McKenzie

Born in Chicago, Illinois on June 1, 1930. Preceded in death by his parents Ward and Emma McKenzie, and sister Ruth McKenzie of Chicago.

Survived by his sons Michael (Kathy), Kenneth (Debbie); daughter Nancy McKenzie, former wife Bernice McKenzie, grandchildren Zach and Kyle McKenzie; step-grandchildren Dane and Danielle Della Rossa, and Adam Masers.

Allen graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1956. He served in the U.S. Army as a Staff Sergeant during the Korean conflict with the 68th AAA Gun Battalion, 5th Army.

Allen worked for Sargent & Lundy engineers in Chicago, Illinois for 6 years before moving with his family to Denver in 1962. He joined Stearns-Roger, Power Division where he worked for 32 years before retiring.

He enjoyed cycling and cross country skiing. He was a former Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop No. 467 - Litttleton.

Private family services are to be held.
