Charles E. Gump, Jr. 

(Aug 30, 1945 - Nov 10, 2019)

Revelation 21:4 - And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, no crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.

Charles E. Gump, Jr., age 74, of Clearwater, FL, passed on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019. He was born Aug. 30, 1945 in Gary, Indiana to Charles and Ann Gump. On Oct. 21, 1967, he married Gail J. Zarnt at St. Mary's Church in Downers Grove, IL.

A Clearwater resident for one year, Charles previously resided in Littleton, CO for over 40 years where he happily delivered mail for the U.S. Postal Service for over 20 years. He attended All Souls Catholic Church in Englewood, CO for over 30 years. He raised his family of six children for 11 years at 5806 Lakeview St. and 29 years at 6250 S Detroit St., where all of the children graduated from Littleton High School.

Survived by his wife Gail of 52 years; son Robert (Bernadette) Gump, son David (Dung) Gump, daughter Marcy (Duane) Crandall, son Tom (Kristal) Gump, son Tim (Sarah) Gump, daughter Kari (Shon) Murphy; grandchildren Kelsee Bidwell, Patrick Crandall, Emily Crandall, Michael Gump, Abigail Gump, Mason Gump, Phuc Nguyen, Tuong Nguyen, Andrew Gump, Maggie Crandall, Cody Gump, nephew Jeffrey Olejnik, niece Jennifer Grey and niece Jessica Everhart. Preceded in death by his brother, Richard E. Olejnik, his parents, Charles, Sr. and Anna Gump. He was a graduate from Portage High School, class of 1963, and served in the United States Army 1963-1966.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, Nov. 18, 2019 at All Souls Catholic Church at 4950 S. Logan Street in Englewood, CO 80113, with a Military Burial with Full Honors at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 4400 W. Kenyon Avenue in Denver, CO 80236.
