Donald P. Berra

Donald P. Berra. 84 of Castle Rock; He is survived by his beloved sister, Dolores Berra, of St. Louis, Missouri; his children Elizabeth Berra, Catherine Berra, David Berra and Edward Berra; and his grandchildren Michelle Berra, Michael Berra, Alexander Aziz, William Scott, Kayla Berra and Alyssa Berra.

A long time resident of The Hill in St. Louis, Missouri, an Italian-American neighborhood, he attended Washington University in St Louis and, after moving his family to Colorado in the early 70’s, had a successful career in marketing, most notably in the sugar industry.

As a U.S Marine, Drill Instructor and Korean War Veteran he was awarded a Korean Service Medal, a United Nations Service Medal and a National Defense Service Medal.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Committal services will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Staging Area "A" with full military honors.
