Eileen M. Myberg

Eileen M. Myberg, 88, formerly of Littleton, CO passed away August 4, 2017 after a short stay in hospice. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gene. She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Bob) Glidden, Peggy (Ed) Cherry and son Gary (Ann) Myberg; grandchildren Chad Glidden, Angie Visnic, Alyssa Hall, Gary Myberg, Joshua Myberg, Joe Cherry, Chris Cherry and Will Cherry.  She also has a brother, Mervin Sattler in Idaho and sister, Ila Snodgrass, in Arizona.

Eileen was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 28, 1929.  Her family moved to South Dakota later that year. They spent time in Murdo, Presho and Phillip until 1938 when they left for Casper, WY.  In 1946 they moved to Caldwell, ID where she met and married Gene. In 1947 the newlyweds moved to Denver to begin their new life.  Eileen enjoyed gardening, golfing, swimming, playing bridge and loved traveling to the far away places she dreamed of as a child. In 1981 Eileen and Gene were founding members of GracePoint Community Church and continued to be active for as long as they were able. She worked at Littleton School District and Littleton Community Center as receptionist for over 15 years. Before moving to Brookdale Assisted Living, Denver, she was active in Water Aquatics, where she found many new and long lasting friends. Eileen loved being around people and was loved by all who got to know her.

She will be greatly missed by friends and family.
