Celia and Anita, I am sorry I didn't know of Eleanor's passing. I met Eleanor at the Martin Company in the early 1960's. We kept in contact for many years but lost touch eventually. Last week, another friend from Martin, Marcella Bader Love, visited me from CA. We reminisced about Martin and wondered if Eleanor had passed. I researched and found her obituary. Eleanor was such a lovely woman, as you two daughters know so well. She was ever the cheerful and kind person although she suffered so much personal sadness. She was a good shoulder for me, always encouraging and helpful. Eleanor will be in my heart for as long as I live. My sympathies to Eleanor's family.

Eleanor's passing is both sad and happy. Sad for losing someone who was so loving, kind, and shared her humor with us, and happy because she is now in a better place and not suffering. She will be missed. It will be easy for you, Anita and Celia, to remember the many good times with your mom. Know that we are thinking of you as you work through your mom's passing.
Love Karen and Judy

I have fond memories of the two years Eleanor was my secretary at Newton. She was a great help and a fine person.

Eleanor was absolutely the best! As a professional, she could run a school with skill and good humor - in spite of having to deal with the rest of us! As a friend, she was highly valued, full of caring, fun, and bridge games. She made a difference in this world, and she will be remembered with respect and love.

Eleanor's passing truly is with both sadness and joy. Eleanor was a great lady and will be missed by many. We secretaries at Newton developed such a long lasting bond and friendship. I have so many happy memories of our times together. We shared both happy times and sad times over the years.
