Francis Raymond Flierl

Francis Raymond Flierl, 97, of Englewood, Colorado passed away peacefully on August 20, 2018. Francis was born June 20, 1921 in Castle Rock, Colorado to Simon Herman & Irene (Coressel) Flierl. He was a WWII veteran, having served proudly in France and Germany from 1942-1945. He  also received a Purple Heart for being wounded. Francis was preceded in death  by his wife of 46 years, Erinea Garcia Flierl.

Survived by son, Paul (Maureen) Flierl, Denis (Jeanie) Flierl; brothers, Joe (Polly) Flierl, Chuck (Bev) Flierl; sisters, Evelyn Loyd, and Ruthie (Bill) Calahan; 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at All Souls Catholic Church. Father Sam Morehead will officiate. Burial will follow at 2:15 Staging Area C in Fort Logan National Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday August 27, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Drinkwine Mortuary.
