Fred P. Van Dame, born March 1921, resident of Centennial, Colorado, a retired professional engineer, died September 21, 2018. He was awarded with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Detroit in 1944 and he practiced the profession for 44 years until his retirement in 1988. His experience ranged from research, development and management of foreign and domestic jet engines at NASA, Cleveland, and the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio. His wife, Joy, died in December, 2004, and he is survived by two daughters, Marlea Taylor, Englewood, CO, and Kathleen Gebhart, Germantown, Ohio, as well as two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren..
Graveside service will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. at Littleton Cemetery.
