Joanne M. Spiessbach

Joanne entered God’s Heavenly Kingdom on December 16, 2018. In all aspects of her life, she was guided by her faith. For Joanne, family came first. She deeply loved all three generations of her family:
• Andy, her husband of 47 years,
• her four children and their spouses  ◦ Karl and his wife Emily ◦ Pete and his wife Anne ◦ Mark and his wife Liz ◦ Anna and her husband Vern • and her five grandchildren: Caleb, Lily, Henry, Charlie and Noah.
Joanne was passionate about reading, education and the Catholic Church, which all intersected nicely during her time as a librarian at St. Mary’s of Littleton. Retirement gave her more time to spend with her grandchildren, serve the community, and play bridge. Her love of chocolate was almost as famous as her ability to find something kind to say to everyone she’d meet. 
Although Joanne will be deeply missed, she would want all of her loved ones to celebrate her life.

Memorial Mass to be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 21, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church. 

“In lieu of flowers please have masses said for Joanne or donate to one of her favorite charities.”
