Katherine Ann Favreau

Katherine Ann Favreau (Gosselin) died peacefully on 8/7/2017 in Chicago, IL at the age of 69.

Kathy is survived by her daughters, Paula Jackson (Mark) of Highlands Ranch CO and Sheri Regalado of Bullhead City, AZ.; her three grandchildren Kristopher and Kayla Jackson and Ashley Regalado; former husband, George (Stanley) Favreau and her 7 brothers and sisters, Earl Gosselin, Elaine Hartman, Kenny Patton, Wayne Gosselin, Kevin Gosselin, Daniel Gosselin, Julie Miller.  Preceded in death by her parents, Mary Wilmott and Elmer Gosselin.

Kathy was born on June 26th 1948 in Hays KS. She graduated from Mt Carmel High School in 1966. Soon afterwards she married George Favreau on October 7th 1967. Over the next 5 years, the couple welcomed their two children into their home. After moving to Denver CO Kathy began working with telephone PBX systems for Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent.  She worked there for 20 years before retiring. Her children remember her as a kind/gentle/patient mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.  Her big infectious smile and kind heart was something everyone treasured about Kathy.

Kathy always enjoyed working with crafting items and florals in her younger years. She also loved to color, go to concerts and shows, travel, spend time with friends and family, and most of all she loved her grandchildren. Kathy was an active and dedicated member of the Tops and the Red Hats and often volunteered her time to both organizations.

A funeral is scheduled for August 26th, 2017 at 2 pm MST at the Drinkwine Family Mortuary in Littleton Colorado with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Kathy’s life. Flowers can be sent for funeral services to Drinkwine Family Mortuary at 999 West Littleton Boulevard, Littleton, CO 80120 or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in Kathy’s memory.
