Lawrence (Lenny) McManus entered into eternal peace on August 6, 2019 at Littleton Adventist Hospital, Littleton, Colorado following a brief illness.
Lenny was born April 13, 1948 in Denver, Colorado. He lived in Sedalia and the Denver area and graduated from West High School in 1966. He joined the U. S. Navy in May 1967 where he served as fire crew technician on the new commissioned carrier USS John F. Kennedy for most of his four-year military career. After the Navy, Lenny spent most of his work career as a technician/driver in the respiratory care industry.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary, of 30 years, brothers Ron, Mike, Richard and sister Trudy Hilton, mother-in-law ‘Flo’ Conway, brothers-in-law Dennis and Michael along with nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, mother Ruth (Navratil) McManus and father, Leonard McManus.
Lenny was a decent and honorable man and was kind and generous to anyone that knew him. He will be truly missed.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday Aug. 20, 2019 at 2:30 PM (staging area "B") at Ft. Logan National Cemetery with full Navy honors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made either St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, The International Fellowship for Christians & Jews or Wounded Warriors Foundation in Lenny's memory.
