Lexi Rae Hester was born in Steamboat Springs Colorado on September 13, 2001 to Amy Hester and Forrest Hester. Our beloved Lexi Rae was gathered up into the arms of Jesus on April 1, 2018
Lexi, a junior, at Heritage High School played Varsity Lacrosse and lettered both freshman and sophomore year. She had a passion for life, loved her concerts at Red Rock and would see as many as she could. Lexi was a hippie at heart, evidenced by the tapestries that covered the walls around her room and her famous quote “Stay trippy lil hippie”. She was a kind and gentle soul. She had a smile that lit up a room and personality to match. She loved to breath in the ocean air and looked forward to traveling the world. Her determination and inspiration never went unnoticed by anyone. Her life will live on in so many who had the honor and pleasure of knowing her.
She is survived by her mother, Amy, father, Forrest, stepmother Lindsey brothers Kolby and Gus, sister Lucy and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Grandparents and Great Grandparents.
“Kindness is free, sprinkle that shit everywhere”. Lexi Hester
