Lois Marilyn Wise

Lois Marilyn Wise passed away on June 19, 2017 into God’s arms.  She was born in Denver, Colorado on April 28, 1927.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John May and Elsie Mae (Poulter) May, and by her brothers Ralph May, Charles May and Earl May, and her sisters Alice Vawter and Rosie Pittman.  She is survived by her beloved sister Iris Parker.  She met her future husband Harry Gilbert Wise while they were both going to college in Greeley, Colorado.  They married on May 16, 1951 in Denver and had a wonderful 66 years together.  Lois is survived by her husband, Harry; her daughter Lori Wise; her daughter Debbie Simonetti and her husband Bob and their two children Matthew and Kimber; and her son Mike Wise and his wife Laurie and their three children Stephanie, Shane and Kellen and daughter-in-law Morgan.  She was loved dearly by her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was a devoted sister, wife, aunt, mother and grandmother. Lois dearly loved God. Her faith and her Bible study group were important parts of her life. She had a kind and loving heart that will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1PM at Drinkwine Family Chapel. A reception will immediately follow the service at Drinkwine Family Mortuary.
