Margaret Lewkow

Margaret Lewkow, 90, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on July 11, 2018. Margaret was born and lived in South Plainfield, NJ before moving to Littleton, Colorado in 1972. On November 14, 1948 she married Nicholas Lewkow. Together they raised 5 children. Margaret enjoyed playing golf and her trips to the casinos in Black Hawk. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by her brother, John Pohira. Her 5 children, Deborah Lewkow Delaney of NJ, William (Sue) Lewkow of CO, Robert (Kendra) Lewkow of CA, Kenneth Lewkow and Elizabeth Sather of CO, and Andrew (Teresa) Lewkow of FL; grandchildren, Margo, Nicholas, Bradley, Tim, Joseph, Paige, Amanda, Kenneth, and Genny; and two great grandchildren, Hannah Grace and Ada Frances. She is preceded in death by her husband Nicholas,; four sisters, Ann Zampella, Mary Yatczyn, Helen Harabin, and Pauline Zahuta; two brothers, Michael Pohira and Charles Pohira; daughter-in-law, Merry Lee Lewkow; son-in-law David D. Delaney.

The family will receive friends on Thursday July 19th from 4:00PM to 8:00PM with Recitation of Rosary at 7:00PM, both at Drinkwine Family Mortuary.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church on Friday, July 20th at 10:00AM followed by a burial service at Littleton Cemetery.
