Marlene Cass, 84, passed away with her family by her side on September 12, 2018. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri on August 14, 1934. Her father was Lisle Moore, a carpenter. Her mother was Georgia “Lucille” Moore, a homemaker.
When she was in high school, Marlene learned to play the cello; giving her a lifelong appreciation for music and the arts.
She loved to cook.
She loved collies. For years, she participated in showing and breading.
She married her husband, Gene, on August 30, 1963. They shared 55 wonderful years together. They loved to dance and traveled extensively; both domestic and abroad.
She had a long career as an executive secretary, and was instrumental in the construction of the
world headquarters of Johns-Manville.
She learned to fly.
Marlene loved her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and siblings. She is

A celebration of her life will be held September 19, 2018 at 11:30 AM with viewing/visitation 1 hour prior at Drinkwine Family Mortuary. Marlene will be laid to rest at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
