Miriam S. French, 98, of Centennial, Colorado, went home to be with her Lord on July 15, 2019. She was born in Three Bridges, N.J. on 11/3/1920. She was attending Kings College when she met and married Clayton French. Together they raised four children and were active in their church and community, especially with Girl Scouts, until they moved to Colorado with Johns-Manville in 1971. Her strong spirit and faith in the Lord led her to have a rich and fulfilling life in her new home in Colorado where she enjoyed gardening, golf, skiing and volunteering with the Swedish Medical Center and American Heart Association. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother. Her wonderful sense of humor and willingness to cherish her family and others were a testament to her strong faith and love of life. Miriam will be missed and loved always by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clayton and her brother Sterling. Miriam is survived by her four children, Linda Ruocco, Jane Carpenter, Allen French and Nancy Rosselot, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Miriam’s family will hold a memorial service at 10:00 a. m. on Saturday July 27 at Someren Glen Retirement Community, 5000 East Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado 80122.
