Mitchell Harrison James, 32, passed away the afternoon of April 27, 2019 in Purcell, Oklahoma. Services will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery on May 9th at 11:00 a.m.

Mitchell was born in Littleton, Colorado in 1986. He attended Littleton High School and the University of Northern Colorado. He joined the United States Marine Corp in 2007 and was stationed at Marine headquarters in Washington, D.C. He served in the Marine Corps Honor Guard and provided funeral honors for fallen comrades at Arlington National Cemetery.

After serving in the Marines, Mitch moved to Edmond, Oklahoma and pursued his degree at Central Oklahoma University. While there, Mitch worked at the Veteran Affairs Office helping veterans with their VA benefits.

Mitchell is survived by his parents Steven and Maureen James of Littleton Colorado, by Stephanie James and Jennifer Miano, his sisters. Semper Fi, rest in peace son.
