Raymond Robert Johnson

Raymond Robert Johnson, 88, of Littleton, Colorado passed away July 17, 2018 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.  Born July 7, 1930 in Smith Center, Kansas to Alvin Draper and Fern Velma Johnson.  Raymond was a truck driver for over 70 years, and was awarded the 1989 Colorado Motor Carrier Driver of the year award.  Ray retired after spending 35 years with the Gates Rubber Company and then running his own company, S&R Hauling.  He was preceded in death by daughter, Ila Sue Johnson in 1977 and step-daughter, Robin Yvonne Kendzior in 2013. 

Survived by wife, Sharon Johnson; daughter, Tracy Alarid; step-son, Todd & wife Beverly Holtz, Son-in-law, Walter Kendzior; 6 grandchildren; Glen Johnson, Stephanie Pryor, Sean & Julia Alarid, and John-Joseph & Michael Kendzior as well as great-grandkids, Laiken Murray,  Duncan Farrell, & Cade Johnson.

Memorial Service will be 11:00am July 28th at Amazing Grace Church.  Pastor Joseph Beach will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Denver Dumb Friends League at https://www.ddfl.org/
