Robert J. (Bob) Laus, Jr, a native of New Jersey and long-time resident of Littleton, Colorado, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at the age of 56. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Charlene LeMaire Laus; two daughters: Rachel and husband, Aron Saxon, of Littleton, and Marisa and fiancé, Topher Thomas, of Colorado Springs; mother and step-father, Judy and Wayne Brodbeck, of Leesburg, FL; father and step-mother, Bob Sr. and Phyllis Laus, Largo, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Laura Laus, of Woodbine, NJ ; sister, Jodi Maychak, of West Chester, PA; numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Bob was a loving husband and father, a skilled carpenter and owner of Marchel Construction, an avid four-wheeler, and a gun collector. He was extremely proud of the life and family he had built. He was always busy working, building something, repairing something, or exploring the trails in the mountains. He was a no-nonsense kind of man who believed in working hard for what you get, and he was generous with his time and skills.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, 11:30-1:30, with funeral service at 1:30 P.M., both held at Drinkwine Family Chapel.
