Roberta Ann (Jensen) Reeder

Roberta (Berta, also known as Bobbie to her family) Ann Reeder, age 88, of Littleton, Colorado passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 11, 2019.

Berta was born in Goodland, Kansas on August 25, 1931 to James and Lucy Jensen and was the youngest of 6 children.

Berta was married to Robert (Bob) Reeder on February 13, 1952, they were married for 32 years prior to his passing.

Berta worked part time at Hallmark as a clerk for several years before retiring in 2018. She enjoyed visiting with her customers and helping them select that perfect card or Christmas ornament. Her family and friends were also recipients of those carefully selected cards and/or ornaments. She loved to read and shared her love for books with her family and friends. She looked forward to her monthly book club meetings and spending time with her dear friends, going to movies or just meeting for Saturday morning breakfast or dinner. Until recent years she was also active at the Schlessman YMCA and participated in their fundraising campaigns with a passion. She also volunteered for the American Heart Association fund raiser every year.

Berta is survived by her daughter Cindy and son-in-law Tony Fisicaro, son Dave and daughter-­in-law Debbie, son Brad and daughter-in-law Karen, grandchildren Sarah (Fisicaro) and husband Shawn Ellis, Amber (Fisicaro) and husband Geoff Arnold, Alex, Tyler, Becca and Lucas Reeder and great grandchildren Hannah, Hailey, Ava and Aubrey Ellis, Nicholas Arnold and other family and friends. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Berta is preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bob), siblings; Irene McClure, Wayne, Dean, Mildred (Midge) Harper and Jerald (Jerry).

A celebration of Berta's life will be held at Hudson Gardens, 6115 S Santa Fe Drive, Littleton Colorado on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 11:00am, followed by a light lunch.
