Stephen Wayne Fix 

November 4, 1959 – October 30, 2019

Born in Denver Colorado, Steve is survived by his Mother, Paula Fix, his Brothers Robert Fix, Eric Griswold, and Sisters Kathy Nace, Melany Hunt, Shelly Lawton, Robyn Arnold and Susan Fix-Wallschlaeger.  He is preceded in Death by his Father, Jack Fix, Cousins, Pam Metcalf, Paul Best and his loving Grandparents Ena and Paul Gore.

Steve was born and raised in Littleton Colorado.  Fresh out of high school in 1977, Steve enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Schweinfurt Germany.  Steve wrote many letters home describing his European travels and military training.  The Army taught Steve many things from being an expert marksman to a specialized tank operator in the armor division.  After completion of his military training Steve returned home and worked various jobs.  He worked alongside his Brother helping his Grandfather's striping business and then later operated a successful landscaping company.

Steve lived in North Dakota for a few years where he put his tank driving experience to the test delivering necessary supplies to farmers in the dead of winter.   

Steve returned to Colorado as his passion was always the outdoors and fishing.  Steve’s friends and family know he had a big heart and would do anything for someone in need.  He was kind, genuine, witty, and courageous.  Sadly God took Steve home too early.  May his memory live forever in our hearts.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 4, 2019 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Drinkwine Family Chapel. Funeral services Tuesday 1:00 P.M. at Drinkwine Family Chapel. Burial will then follow at 2:30 P.M. (Staging Area "B") at Ft. Logan National Cemetery
