Welcome to the memorial page for

Suzanna M. Hill

June 16, 1950 ~ November 8, 2017 (age 67) 67 Years Old

Suzanna Marie Olsen-Hill of Littleton, Colorado embraced her next chapter on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.

She was born on June 16, 1950 in Ethel Washington to Albert and Hazel Olsen. She was 1 of 5 children born to the Olsen's: Loretta Olsen-Schindler, Donna Olsen-Hazelton, Dennis Olsen, and Kenny Olsen are the big brothers and sisters to Suzie and all still currently reside in Washington State.

They were raised on a farm, and embraced the life. Suzie stated milking the cows and driving a tractor at the age of 5, she had so many stories from her time on the farm. It was a true joy to listen to her reminisce on that time. Suzie loved music and was an extremely talented singer who was already singing and playing the piano at the grange meetings when was just a pre-teen.

After graduating high school in a graduating class of less than 20, she headed off to college at Onalaska State College in Washington, where she majored in English and found that she was also an exceptional athlete, becoming the star player for the field hockey team.

From college she married and had 3 children. Her first child was a son; Bart Jason Van Noy. Bart was sadly taken from this world to soon and passed on May 7, 1972. He no doubt welcomed her with a long-awaited embrace. She has 2 surviving daughters: Jacky Hopkins of Denver, Colorado, and Brandi Kelley of Littleton, Colorado. They will both miss her terribly. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Tallon Van Noy, Rikki Kelley, Kristen Kelley-Goodrich, and Brittany Kelley. They all send their love.

She is also survived by her husband Lou Hill. Together they enjoyed a life of travelling, playing in a band, panning for gold, and a love of being together. Lou spent the last many years of Suzie's life caring for her while she battled end-stage Multiple Sclerosis. We know that she is sending her love from the heavens for his care, love and devotion.

Suzie was a woman of many talents. She had the voice of an angel, and her family and friends will always carry the memories of pure joy that she had while performing on stage or in the studio.

She was an athlete who loved to compete, and more times than not; pulled out the win.

She was a hunter, and she was fearless. She even has the bear rug to prove it.

She was an incredibly hard worker and no matter what career she had embarked on, she believed that you should put everything you have into everything you do. She is whole now. Body, mind, and spirit, and she will leave us with amazing memories of a woman who not just fought, but truly battled to the very end, and through it all, she never stopped believing in Santa.

In lieu of flowers, her family asks that you spend time with those that you love, be kind to one another and find a reason to smile.

We will be giving tribute to her life on December 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Drinkwine Family Chapel in Littleton
