Message from JOHN VINSON (BELL HOWELL FRIEND)
August 27, 2017 4:10 PM

TO TOM'S LOVED ONES, I AM SO SORRY TO LEARN ABOUT TOM'S PASSING.
I HAD THE GREAT PLEASURE OF SHARING TIME WITH TOM, ON TWO TRAINING OCCASIONS AT BELL HOWELL TRAINING CLASSES. I FIRST MET TOM OVER 30 YEARS AGO, I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY HIS REAL TO LIFE PERSONALITY, HUMOR AND EASY GOING ATTITUDE. TOM, TOLD ME ABOUT THE CABIN AND THE CABIN'S TOILET THAT INCINERATED HUMAN WASTE AND BLEW THE PARTIALS OUT OF THE REAR OF THE CABIN ....I WAS LIKE, SUREeeeee, BECAUSE I NEVER HEARD OF THAT KIND OF TOILET BEFORE. WELL I STAND CORRECTED, PER THE INTERNET. I'M SO GLAD THAT TOM HAD TIME TO SHARE WITH HIS BELOVED, MAN'S BEST FRIEND, WOOF! WOOF!
**THIS WORLD WOULD BE A MUCH BETTER PLACE, IF WE HAD MORE TOM'S.** NO NEED TO SAY GOD BLESS TOM, AS THAT IS A DONE DEAL FOR SUCH A NICE AND CARING PERSON. SINCERELY, TOM'S FRIEND, JOHN VINSON

I've known Tom for many years, and he was always a pleasure to be around. He had a hardy laugh, and an easy nature. He was generous, and shared anything he had. We road motorcycles, shot guns, drank beers, shared stories, and laughed a lot. He enjoyed his life as a true Colorado guy. Tom fought a brave fight in the end, and he'll be remembered fondly. My deepest condolences to Judy.

I had the pleasure of knowing Tom for over 50 years- Tom, Judy & myself grew up together- our Mothers belonged to Adoptive Mothers - our Families had MANY outings together- The Bright cabin & ours- I was lucky they lived only 3 blocks away- he was such a big part of my life ( like a brother I never had) - my thoughts & prayers go out to Judy & Dan - he will be deeply missed.

My sincere codesences. I met Tom many years ago in San Francisco after the earthquake. Tom and I were there to assist. We had a few drinks and shared some B and H stories, he was a great guy and I am better for making his aqaintence.

I had the pleasure of working with Tom over the last five years at Bell and Howell. He was a dedicated colleague, very positive even in challenging situations both personal and professional, and always willing to help in any way possible. Tom always had a smile, regardless of the circumstances. We will miss him. Our heartfelt sympathies to the family.
